     The final goal for post production funding has been reached for the movie Rodeo Girl.

                                           
Rodeo Girl is a movie about a young girl who lives the life of riding lessons at a fancy boarding school until she is sent to live with her cowboy father.

This is when she discovers rodeo.

The Movie Stars Kevin Sorbo of Hercules fame along with Sophie Bolen and Derek Brandon.

The film will be shot in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.

It appears that there may be still a chance left to be an extra in the movie. They are shooting rodeo crown scenes on Saturday October 11th.

Rodeo Life

I love Rodeo. Call it a sport or call it a lifestyle, heck it might even be genetic. Rodeo runs in the blood of some folks and the rodeo life is passed down for generations.

I wanted a place to put down some of my thoughts and memories of some of the best days of my life, my rodeo life.  I also hope to help keep the ball rolling on down the rodeo trail with whatever I can lend.

I grew up on rodeos and living the cowboy way and there is nothing I love more than to see little kids getting a chance to experience the wonder of it all.
